Jemima Kirke has joked she has “buckets” full of make-up in her bathroom.
The Girls actress is featured in the first instalment of a new Vogue series in which stars share details of a typical day in their life.
Jemima’s chosen day involved her getting ready for a Rachel Comey fashion show – and she didn’t hold back when it came to cosmetics.
“I have a lot of make-up. Buckets of it,” she revealed. “I bring both buckets to my full-length mirror in the bedroom as it has the best light.
“Foundation, blush (lots and lots because I love blush), eye shadow, mascara, the works. I don’t need all that make-up but I have so much of it that it’s just fun to use.”
During the feature, the 39-year-old shared how she sometimes washes her face with just water to “save time” if she’s running late in the morning.
And when it comes to her ideal outfit, Jemima explained she relies on simple, structured clothes and underwear to give her some shape.
“Clothes come off. The dress, and my breasts, need a firm and supportive bra with no frills,” she noted.
Elsewhere, Jemima revealed she prefers sitting next to familiar faces at fashion events and usually makes a wish list of all the items she dreams of wearing.
“I arrive at the Rachel Comey show and discover that I’m sitting next to my friends, which is always nice,” she smiled. “The show starts and I make mental notes of the pieces that I will one day acquire or borrow.”
